I engaged Lydia in 2016 when I was looking for a public/HDB apartment near my parents’ place in Pasir Ris. She was highly recommended by a colleague who assured me that Lydia was a reliable and dedicated agent. At the time, Lydia was just starting to expand her coverage from private property to public housing, and told me upfront in our first phone conversation that I’d be her first client in the public housing market, and that she would be learning as we move along. In spite of this, I was happy to go with Lydia as it was more important to me that I can trust my agent, and she clearly knew what she was doing every step of the way even though it was her first time. As it was my first time looking for an apartment, I was clueless and Lydia was very helpful in providing suggestions based on her knowledge and research of the market, pricing, and location/suitable districts. Together we narrowed down the search to three districts based on my lifestyle, transportation options and commitments. Within two weeks, Lydia identified nine apartments that suited my very specific requirements. I settled on one that fitted all my requirements and Lydia coordinated the price negotiations, completed the paperwork promptly and proactively anticipated my needs and questions. In summary, Lydia is the best property agent one can ask for. I have recommended her services to five other friends and colleagues and all have told me she’s an exemplary agent — one that is a rarity in the market.

Lydia understands the pulse of the area in the east. She has the info on available units to recommend at all times. Often times there are units advertised on Property Guru but may not be available or may not meet requirements. Lydia takes time to understand needs and matches units accordingly. She has been extremely helpful in managing interactions. I would recommend reaching out to Lydia if you are looking for apartments. Over the many years in Singapore we have interacted with several agents but none like Lydia. She is by far the best.
